With all that is going on in the world, it is difficult for our elected leaders to prioritize those issues not making headlines. 

 

AFK ensures that Kurdistan and the U.S.-Kurdistan alliance is always before them. 

 

AFK knows the Kurdish voice is limited around the world and the American-Kurdish voice has been non-existent in Washington. Too often, we find ourselves simply reacting to developments in the Middle East that affect our Kurdish allies.  By not proactively furthering peaceful efforts toward democratic self-determination, we harm American national security interests.

 

With an experienced team in Washington, AFK works to strengthen American national security by enhancing American-Kurdish relations. Our elected leaders in Washington must be informed and able to make decisions based on facts, not on the subjective words of our supposed allies.
